WINTHROP — A near century-old clock will soon return to its home in St. Regis Falls.
After being saved form wreck and ruin over 10 years ago and residing in their park in Winthrop, Greg and Molly Caron have decided that it’s time to let the old clock that sat on the school in St. Regis Falls to go home.
The Caron’s recently met with a group of historically-concerned people form St. Regis Falls to start the process.
Although they will hate to see the clock leave Winthrop, they know it belongs where it was first erected and where all the people who have memories of it growing up and seeing it daily.
“The clock will soon be 100 years old … and for the grand old clock to go home is the perfect birthday gift for St. Regis Falls,” Greg said in email to North Country This Week.
