MORLEY – A barn has been declared a total loss after it was destroyed by fire early Saturday evening, according to St. Lawrence County fire investigators.
The Morley Fire Department responded to the 1791 County Route 14 barn owned by Lucille Alston at 6:10 p.m. Also arriving at the scene was Canton Fire and Rescue.
The West Potsdam, Madrid, Lisbon and Rensselaer Falls fire departments provided mutual aid and the Heuvelton Fire Department was on standby.
No injuries were reported. Cause of blaze is under investigation.
Morley firefighters returned to the station at 7:45 p.m.
