NORFOLK -- A Massena woman was charged with driving while intoxicated following investigation of a property-damage accident earlier this year on State Highway 56, according to St. Lawrence County sheriff's deputies.
Betty Jo Nelson, 45, was charged Aug. 10 with aggravated driving while intoxicated: Blood-alcohol content .18% or higher and failure to stop at a stop sign, deputies said.
The alleged incident took place June 22.
Her blood-alcohol content was allegedly .18%.
She was cited and released.
