MASSENA — A public hearing has been set by the Massena Town Board for Wednesday, Oct. 19 at 4:30 p.m.
Residents are encouraged to attend to speak regarding the potential authorization to override the 2023 town budget tax levy.
Officials say the vote will simply give the board the authority to override the levy, if necessary, however it is not a given that overriding will be necessary.
The public hearing will be held in room 30 at town hall and will be held before the board’s next official meeting.
