MASSENA -- The village and town have rescheduled their joint meeting to Monday, July 22 at 5:30 p.m. in the Town Hall.
The meeting was so the boards could hear a presentation on their reorganization study, which among other options, may recommend village dissolution.
The meeting is scheduled for one hour after the Massena Memorial Hospital Board of Managers meeting, which will be at 4:30 p.m. the same day at MMH.
Town Supervisor Steve O’Shaughnessy on Tuesday announced the joint meeting had been postponed, but did not respond to an email asking for the reason for the postponement and the new date and time.
Mayor Tim Currier’s office announced the new date and time the following day.
