MASSENA —Logan Chapman, who recently visited family in Massena, returned to his home in North Carolina with a brand new guitar he won at the “June Rocks!” show at Massena High School.
The Massena Music Friends-sponsored drawing succeeded in raising close to $2,000 to benefit outside-of-budget needs for the district’s music program.
Pictured with Logan, at left, and his Takamine EG-440 acoustic/electric guitar, are MMF raffle chair Paul Haggett and Mike Olson, owner of Mainly Music, which donated the guitar.
Anthony Garcia and Shawn Beauvais, both of Massena, won cash prizes of $100 and $200 respectively.
