WINTHROP -- The Massena Masons will be holding a Safety Identification Event from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 19 at the American Legion during the Tri-Town Winter Carnival.
The Safety ID Program is open to the public and offered free of charge. Participants receive a packet of individual information to assist law enforcement in the safe recovery of a lost or missing child, student, or adult. All ages are welcome. Permission slips for minor children must be signed by a parent or guardian.
The identification process includes fingerprinting, photos, and a short questionnaire. All information is given to the parents; only consent forms are retained.
