MASSENA -- A Massena man was jailed on a felony assault count after allegedly attacking someone outside of a village bar.
David E. Labarge, 37, of Sycamore Street, Massena is charged with first-degree assault, a felony, police said.
Investigators say he is accused of hitting someone in the face with a blunt object outside of Ray's Place, at Liberty Avenue and Willow Street.
LaBarge was charged at 8:16 p.m. July 20 on Sycamore Street, police said.
He was arraigned in Massena court and remanded to the St. Lawrence County Correctional Facility, pending further court action, police said.
