MASSENA -- Charles W. Elliott Jr. of Massena has been selected to travel on the Honor Flight from Syracuse to Washington, D.C. He will leave on Sept. 25 with his guardian, James Makowiec, of Baldwinsville.
This trip is an all-expense paid trip for Charles to fly to Washington to tour the Memorials. This honor is to thank the veteran for his service and sacrifices he made decades ago.
During his trip he will be thanked and saluted by anyone he comes in contact with. Charles will be even more proud during Mail Call when he receives cards from family, friends and anyone who wants to honor him that day and say thank you.
