The New York State Police Academy has graduated a new class of troopers and several from St. Lawrence County will be posted to Troop B, which includes the county.
Of the 88 graduates, four are from St. Lawrence County.
They are Brian Labarge, Massena; Michael Manor, Hannawa Falls; Theresa McCargar, West Stockholm; and Jesse Sheen, Gouverneur.
Their initial assignments will be in Troop B, based in Ray Brook.
The new troopers will report for field duty on Oct. 22, and for the following 10 weeks will be evaluated under a field training program supervised by senior field training officers.
This is the 198th class to graduate the academy, and the first since June 2009.
