MASSENA -- A Board of Education member has resigned.
Jason Premo emailed Superintendent Patrick Brady on Monday to offer the resignation but gave no details.
"I am resigning from the board of education effective immediately due to Personal reasons," Premo wrote in the one-sentence email he sent at 7:24 a.m. Monday.
The board took no action on dealing with the vacancy.
They held an executive session at the beginning of the meeting and discussed potential candidates they could appoint to finish the unexpired term.
Brady said he expects the board will make a decision at their February meeting
