GOUVERNEUR – Work was recently completed at St. James Catholic Church as a part of a 10-year Exterior Masonry Restoration Program.
The work was done by the Lupini Construction Company out of Utica on the stained-glass tracery window on the south side of the church.
The restoration of the window was facilitated by a grant by the Rock Charitable Fund of the Northern New York Community Foundation.
Since 1929 the Northern New York Community Foundation has invested in improving and enriching the quality of life for all in communities across Jefferson, Lewis and St. Lawrence Counties.
