Many St. Lawrence County entities get NNYCF grants to provide food during pandemic

A handful of St. Lawrence County non-profits received grants of $1,000 or $500 from the Northern New York Community Foundation to help meet community need for food during the COVID-19 crisis.

Each of the following received $1,000: Church and Community Program, Canton; Clifton-Fine Central School Backpack Program; Gouverneur Neighborhood Center; Helping Hands of Potsdam; Massena Salvation Army Food Supplies; Ogdensburg Boys and Girls Club Food Supplies; and Ogdensburg Salvation Army Food Supplies.

Each of the following received $500: Canton Central School Backpack Program; Canton Methodist Church; Christian Fellowship Center Pantry, Madrid; Norwood, Norfolk-Raymondville Food Pantry, Potsdam Snack Pack Program; St. Lawrence Valley Renewal House; St. Vincent de Paul Food Pantry, Massena; and Transitional Living Services.
