Assembly candidate Ken Blankenbush, Republican from Black River, has received the endorsement of the Manufacturing Association of Central New York (MACNY).
MACNY said Blankenbush was truly committed to reforming New York and its business climate for the benefit of manufacturers and North County workers.
Said Blankenbush, “I am excited to share my plan to help manufacturing jobs grow in the North Country. New York needs to keep energy costs down and taxes low for job creators, and I pledge to vocally speak out against any job killing legislation. I must thank MACNY for recognizing my sincere desire to turn things around to ensure a bright and prosperous manufacturing business sector, full of job opportunities for the North Country.”
Blankenbush and Democrat Brian McGrath of Martinsburg, are campaigning for the 122nd District Assembly seat being vacated by Dede Scozzafava of Gouverneur.
