OGDENSBURG — U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) officers at the Ogdensburg Port of Entry arrested a 32-year-old male who had an outstanding felony warrant from Georgia.
CBP did not name the subject, however did confirm the lone male traveler attempted to cross at the Ogdensburg port of entry and was detained after an active warrant was confirmed through CBP’s inspection process.
According to CBP, the subject was wanted on a warrant for sexual exploitation of a minor, which was issued by the Barrow County Sheriff’s Office in Georgia.
CBP says the subject was turned over to Ogdensburg Police and is currently in custody with the St. Lawrence County Sheriff’s officer, where he is awaiting extradition.
