POTSDAM -- Potsdam Police responded to an overturned vehicle Saturday after a truck lost control on Maple Street.
Gregory J. Stewart, 22, of Unadilla, was charged with driving at speeds not reasonable and prudent Saturday at 6:57 p.m. on Maple Street.
Patrols were called to a reported overturned vehicle on Maple Street, Fall Island.
Upon their arrival they found a pickup truck overturned onto the driver’s side with the driver out of the vehicle, uninjured.
It was determined that the suspect was traveling at a high rate of speed and lost control due to hazardous road conditions and the vehicle drove up onto a guard rail on the bridge, causing the vehicle to overturn. The suspect was issued a traffic ticket for the listed charge.
