FINE — State troopers have charged a man from Fine with a multitude of charges after a domestic incident that involved a firearm.
Troopers say Alan D. Facey, 44, has been charged with second-degree menacing, fourth-degree criminal possession of a weapon- convicted felon, third-degree criminal possession of a weapon- previous conviction, first-degree reckless endangerment, second-degree unlawful imprisonment and endangering the welfare of a child.
Troopers say on Jan. 31 Facey and the victim were involved in an all day and night verbal altercation at a residence on State Highway 58.
Troopers say Facey allegedly became irate and grabbed a shotgun before sitting in a chair that blocked the exit of the victim, not allowing them to leave.
Facey allegedly shot a round off inside the residence while children were present, troopers say.
Facey allegedly then threw the gun and chair at the victim, allowing the vicitm to secure the firearm.
Facey was arraigned in Town of Morristown court where he was released on his own recognizance.
