POTSDAM — A man was charged with leaving the scene of a property-damage accident on Main Street while he was drunk, according to Potsdam police.
Alexander M. Knapp, 21, Keeseville, was charged with first-offense driving while intoxicated and leaving the scene of a property-damage accident at 3:02 a.m., police said.
Police said they located pieces of his vehicle at the scene of the accident which revealed the identification of the vehicle.
Knapp was located on Clarkson campus and determined to be intoxicated, officers said.
His blood-alcohol content (BAC) was .13%, police said.
Knapp was cited and released.
