HAMMOND – A St. Johnsville man was arrested and jailed Saturday for allegedly transporting more than 30,000 unstamped cigarettes, according to state police.
Scott R. Simonds, 50, was charged with the felony at 12:45 p.m. at NYS Hwy. 37 and County Route 3, police said.
He was held on cash bail of $2,500, police said.
