OGDENSBURG — A Malone man was arrested in the village of Canton after allegedly bringing contraband into a prison, state police say.
Jevon Eddy, 25, was charged with first-degree possession of dangerous contraband in prison, a class D felony, after being found in possession of a cutting type weapon by correction officers on July 2, 2021 while incarcerated at Riverview Correctional Facility, police say.
He was ordered held.
The investigation is still pending.
