PIERREPONT — A Madrid woman was charged with aggravated driving while intoxicated May 18 stemming from investigation of a personal-injury accident on CR 24, according to St. Lawrence County sheriff’s deputies.
Leslie A. Merrick, 37, was charged with felony DWI: Prior conviction, consumption of alcohol in a motor vehicle, failure to keep right, speed not reasonable or prudent and unlawful possession of marijuana, officers said.
A passenger in her vehicle, Justyn A. Fountain, 36, was charged with consumption of alcohol in a motor vehicle, deputies said.
Injury details were not made available.
Both subjects were cited and released.
