MASSENA -- A new media server at Time Warner in Syracuse went online Oct. 6, allowing rapid updating of WNTS television station content and the ability to show live events on local cable channel 1501, and they hope soon to add their programming to the Potsdam/Canton cable service.
Mike Jones of WNTS says many new items are planned including a daily show of local news, weather, and sports. Other ideas are a live auction show, video bingo, and live sporting events. They also plan to broadcast the Massena mayoral debate live on Oct. 26.
They want to encourage the community to submit ideas, suggestions, videos, and other materials.
