OSWEGATCHIE -- A Lisbon resident was charged July 29 with driving under the influence of drugs with a child in the vehicle, according to St. Lawrence County sheriff's deputies.
Crystal L. Smithers, 44, was charged with felony driving under the influence off drugs, second-degree criminal contempt, seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and endangering the welfare of a child, officers said.
The charges stemmed from a traffic stop on SH 812, deputies said.
Smithers was allegedly violating an order of protection.
She was cited and released.
