A new program airing nationally Tuesday includes a cast member, Marc Isaacs, who is originally from Lisbon.

Isaacs has a part of the first episode of "Final Witness" on ABC. The new hour-long program dramatizes true life crimes, with the story told from the perspective of one of the deceased victims. The initial episode recounts the murder of a Texas family in 2008. Isaacs plays the father of that family in reenactment scenes throughout the show.

Isaacs auditioned for the role in Dallas in July, and production began the following month. It's the latest role for the Texas-based actor who first appeared on stage at St. Lawrence University more than two decades ago. In the last few years Isaacs worked on numerous commercial, film and TV projects, including HBO's multiple Emmy Award-winning "Temple Grandin" and "The Good Guys" on FOX. Next year he'll be seen in an independent feature film called "The Toy Box" about real-life serial killer David Parker Ray. Isaacs plays the prosecutor who tries to put Ray behind bars for life.

Isaacs grew up in Lisbon, class of 1989 at Lisbon Central School. He last lived in St. Lawrence County in 1998 when he moved to Watertown to work at what was CIZ-FM, then at Channel 7. His parents, Ron and Peg Bisnett, still live in Lisbon.

"Final Witness" airs on September 14th at 10 pm on ABC.
