LeMay wins Democratic primary for Ogdensburg city judge, Alford comes out on top for GOP

OGDENSBURG – Marcia LeMay won a three-way Democratic Party primary for city judge while Gary Alford won the Republican primary for the seat in voting on Thursday.

LeMay received 261 votes, compared to 122 for Gary Alford 122 and 61 for Ramona Breen in the Democratic primary.

Alford and Breen also competed for the Republican endorsement for city judge, with Alford winng the contest with 230 votes. Breen received 52.

In the Conservative Party primary, Alford garnered 6 votes, compared with 2 for Breen. Alford received 16 votes in the Independence Party primary, while Breen got 5.

The results are unofficial and do not include absentee ballots.
