LAWRENCE — A Lawrence woman led law enforcement on a pursuit Monday night, according to state police.
Troopers attempted to stop a vehicle for traveling 65 miles per hour in a 35 mph zone on U.S. Highway 11 in Moira in Franklin County around 5 p.m. and the operator failed to stop, officers said.
A pursuit was initiated and continued west on U.S. Highway 11, police said.
The driver turned onto CR 54 and later onto Ferris Road where the pursuit ended in the driveway of 923 Ferris Road, troopers said.
The driver, 55-year old Leisa S. Ward, refused testing to determine her blood-alcohol content (BAC), officers said.
Ward was only in possession of a non-driving ID because her license was revoked in 2014 for a felony DWI conviction, police said.
She was charged with felony DWI and third-degree unlawfully fleeing an officer, police said.
She was arraigned and released.
