NORFOLK — The Jolly Agers Senior Citizen club recently reorganized following a long COVID interruption, club officers say.
The club’s annual picnic was held on Aug. 18 at Norwood beach, with Karen Murray catering the event.
On Sept. 8 the club travelled by Premier Motor Coach to Burlington, VT., to board the “Spirit of Ethan Allen III” for a luncheon cruise on Lake Champlain.
Club officers include president Pauellete Reid, secretary Louis Elliot, assistant secretary Laura McGrath and treasurer Frank Hutt.
Meetings are held every third Wednesday of the month from noon to 2 p.m. at the Raymondville Community Hall, across from the post office.
Membership fees are $5.
The next scheduled meeting is Oct. 20.
