OGDENSBURG -- The Ogdensburg Boys and Girls Club was the recent recipient of a $10,000 donation from IOOF Seaway Lodge 41 as part of their initial donation towards the Preston C. Carlisle Youth Athletic Center.
"We are so thankful to IOOF Seaway Lodge 41 for their support of our new facility. The donation will help to positively impact youth from Ogdensburg and the surrounding communities for years to come. They have always been great supporters of our youth and other youth in the community and we appreciate their generosity to us,” OGBC Director Tom Luckie said.
The club is in the process of raising $400,000 to plug the funding gap for the project due to increased costs.
