MASSENA — The Hometown Heroes Committee of Massena is looking to honor and recognize local residents who served or are serving in the United State Armed Forces.
Applicants will be accepted now through Jan. 10, 2023. Banners will hang from May through sometime in November, when Christmas decorations are put up.
Banners are 24” by 72” and will hang in still to be determined locations in the village.
To be eligible, the person must have attended Massena Central School.
Applications are available at Massena VFW Post 1143, Massena Elks Lodge, Massena library, Massena American Legion Post 79, and Massena Amvets Post 4.
