CANTON – A historic landmark has returned to downtown Canton. The iron fountain is now at home again in the center of the Canton Village Park.
The fountain was dismantled last August, 2020, and sent to Alabama for a complete refurbishing. It was reinstalled at the park April 29.
“The completion date is nearing, and the budget grows increasingly tighter,” says Rev. Michael P. Catanzaro.
“Donations to help bring this important undertaking to fruition are gratefully accepted, deeply appreciated, and may be mailed to the Canton Park and Fountain Fund, 17 Park St, Canton, NY 13617,” he said.
