OGDENSBURG — A Heuvelton man faces drug and weapon charges following a traffic stop July 20, according to state police.
Police said they charged 33-year old Joshua C. Hanna with third-degree manufacturing methamphetamine, tampering with physical evidence, seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, possession of a loaded firearm in a motor vehicle, officers said.
Hanna was found in possession of a quantity of meth and precursors for manufacturing meth, officers said.
He allegedly tried to get rid of the evidence by tossing items out his vehicle window.
Hanna was also found in possession of a loaded .22 caliber rifle, police said.
He was cited and released.
