According to the library’s Facebook page, the motor for the library’s furnace had stopped working. Temperatures in the building had dropped to 50 degrees, so the decision was made to shut down for the day.
The library posted that a new motor will be delivered from New Hampshire, and will be installed next week on Wednesday.
The building will be closed until further notice. Patrons are advised to visit the library’s Facebook page for updates.
