CANTON -- A Gouverneur man stopped along U.S. 11 Monday night was held on $2,000 bail after his arrest for allegedly driving while intoxicated and other charges, including a felony count of driving without a license.
Adam R. Matott, 28, was stopped by state police at 9:12 p.m. Troopers say they observed him following too closely and making an illegal signal, and they charged him with those infractions.
They say they subsequently came to believe he had no license and was DWI.
Troopers also charged Matott with first-degree aggravated unlicensed operation and a first-offense DWI charge.
