MACOMB -- After fighting a blaze that destroyed a Fowler trailer early Sunday, Gouverneur firefighters were called out a second time to a chimney fire in Macomb.
A 911 call at 1:27 p.m. reported the chimney fire at 835 County Rt. 8.
Gouverneur fire and rescue volunteers were on the scene. The fire department was back at the station at 3:22 p.m.
The Oxbow Fire Department was on standby.
The fire is under investigation by the Gouverneur fire chief.
Earlier in the day, the Gouverneur Fire Department was called to a fire that destroyed a mobile home in Fowler, injuring one of the six occupants.
