A mostly cloudy and cool day is anticipated across the North Country with temperatures warming into the mid 40s to lower 50s in St. Lawrence County, according to the National Weather Service (NWS).

The high today will be around 52 with light winds and an overnight low of 39, forecasters say. A few lingering mountains showers are possible, but any precipitation will be light, NWS says.

A few additional showers are possible on Sunday with temperatures returning to near normal, NWS says. Highs will be around 58.

The next system arrives with likely precipitation arrives on Wednesday of this upcoming week, the service says.
