BRASHER -- The Stanley Cup is coming to the North Country.

St. Lawrence Central graduate Derek Lalonde will bring the Stanley Cup to Brasher on Wednesday, July 21.

People can have their photo taken with the Stanley Cup at the Tri-Town Arena or Riverview Bar & Restaurant.

The cup will be at the arena from around 5:15 until 8 p.m. People will enter through the main doors and exit the far entrance.

It is expected that there will be a large crowd trying to see the cup, so we people are asked to be patient, and to have a camera or phone ready. Someone at the event will take the photo of your family with the cup for you with a provided camera or phone.

Those who are not fully vaccinated should wear a mask when entering the building.

After photos at the arena, the Stanley cup will be at the Riverview Bar and Restaurant deck from 8 p.m. until midnight. Stop down and get a picture with Coach Derek Lalonde, and one of the most sought after trophies in all of sports.

The 6 Foot Midgets will play live music on the deck from 9 to 11 p.m.
