Frost possible again tonight in St. Lawrence County

Surface high pressure remains over the region through early Thursday. Expect plenty of sunshine and dry weather today, but high temperatures will still be several degrees below normal in St. Lawrence County, according to the National Weather Service (NWS).

Highs today will be around 58 with sunny skies, NWS says.

Frost and freeze conditions will develop once again tonight, but a gradual warming trend will begin on Monday and continue right through mid week, NWS says.

High temperatures will return to seasonal normals by midweek with dry weather and a good deal of sunshine continuing across the region, the service says.

The forecast through Saturday is as follows:

Monday

Areas of frost before 9am. Otherwise, sunny, with a high near 62. Light and variable wind.

Monday Night

Mostly clear, with a low around 37. Light and variable wind.

Tuesday

Sunny, with a high near 65. Calm wind becoming west around 6 mph in the afternoon.

Tuesday Night

Mostly clear, with a low around 49. Southwest wind around 6 mph.

Wednesday

Mostly sunny, with a high near 68. Southwest wind 7 to 9 mph.

Wednesday Night

Mostly clear, with a low around 49. Calm wind becoming south around 6 mph after midnight.

Thursday

Partly sunny, with a high near 67. Southwest wind 13 to 18 mph, with gusts as high as 29 mph.

Thursday Night

Mostly cloudy, with a low around 46. West wind around 7 mph becoming north after midnight.

Friday

Mostly sunny, with a high near 64. North wind 6 to 8 mph.

Friday Night

Partly cloudy, with a low around 44. Calm wind.

Saturday

Mostly sunny, with a high near 65. Calm wind becoming north around 5 mph in the afternoon.
