A frost advisory is in effect for St. Lawrence County from 1 to 8 a.m. Friday morning, according to the National Weather Service (NWS).
Frost could kill sensitive outdoor vegetation if left uncovered, NWS says. The coldest temps will be just prior to sunrise Friday morning. People should take steps now to protect tender plants from the cold.
Skies will be sunny today and highs will reach near 62 with 5-10 mph winds, the service says. Patchy frost and lows in the mid-3os are expected overnight.
