AKWESASNE — The Saint Regis Mohawk Tribe’s Emergency Operations Center (EOC) is reporting four new cases of COVID-19 today (Wednesday, Jan. 27), which makes 19 total active cases under the Tribe’s jurisdiction.

Three of community members have resolved since yesterday, however, 57 remain in quarantine, the Tribe reports.

The Tribe is asking individuals to share their own personal COVID-19 experiences, either as a positive case or through direct exposure.

The EOC invites individuals to share their pandemic experience through testimonies, video, audio, or artwork—any way you want. All submissions are welcomed and may be used in educational materials intended to raise awareness on the importance of remaining vigilant. Submissions will remain anonymous, unless indicated otherwise, and may be emailed to communications@srmt-nsn.gov.

If you have a non-emergency matter, please call the Emergency Operations Center at 518-320-0019, Monday-Friday, between the hours of 9 a.m. and 5 p.m.
