NORWOOD — Four fire departments responded to a blaze on Lake Shore Drive Sunday night and were able to save the home from serious damage.
Norwood Fire officials responded to a fire Sunday night and received mutual aid from Norfolk, West Potsdam and Potsdam firefighters, as well as assistance from Potsdam Rescue.
“Great job by all good save,” the Norwood Fire Department Facebook page said.
Volunteers from the Central & Northern New York Chapter of the American Red Cross provided emergency aid to three people following the fire.
The Red Cross provided financial assistance for necessities such as food and clothing to two adults and one 9-year-old child.
