WADDINGTON – Four fire departments battled a barn fire at 635 Irish Settlement Road Monday afternoon.
The Waddington Volunteer Fire Department responded at 4:39 p.m. to the hay barn owned by Tom Dalton. The Louisville, Madrid and Norfolk fire departments also arrived at the scene and the Waddington Rescue Squad responded. The Lisbon and Morley fire departments were on standby.
The Waddington department returned to the station at 5:31 p.m.
St. Lawrence County fire investigators say cause of the blaze is unknown.
