POTSDAM — A Fort Covington resident was charged after allegedly fleeing police following a traffic stop on U.S. Highway 11, according to state St. Lawrence County sheriff’s deputies.
Dillon M. St. Ann-Spinner, 21, was charged with third-degree unlawfully fleeing a police officer and numerous traffic tickets following an attempted traffic stop Sunday, officers said.
The subject was located later and taken into custody by state police in Malone on State Highway 37.
St. Ann-Spinner was cited and released, deputies said.
Troopers, Canton police, Massena police and Tribal police all assisted in the incident.
