PARISHVILLE -- The Town of Parishville will be flushing fire hydrants for two weeks, beginning Monday, Aug. 9. Residents may experience some discoloration and pressure surging due to the flushing. Don't be alarmed, this is normal.
Before resuming normal use, residents may want to flush their pipes to remove any discoloration. To flush pipes, run the cold faucets in all locations of your home for approximately five minutes.
