The Northern New York Volunteer Firemen’s Association is again awarding scholarships to firefighters, children of firefighters, and grandchildren of firefighters. A criterion for application is community service, EMS, firefighting, and the like.
Applications, printed out or typed but not handwritten, must include an essay, letters of recommendation, transcripts, and a letter from the chief of the fire department stating that the applicant or the sponsoring adult is a member in good standing of the Association-member department.
