HERMON -- A family of five was displaced by a Tuesday night fire on Rock Hollow Road.
Red Cross says they are providing emergency assistance to the two adults and three children ages 5, 8 and 17.
The organization says they provided financial assistance for necessities such as shelter, food, and clothing. Volunteers also offered emotional support, health services and comfort kits containing personal care items as well as stuffed animals for the children.
“In the coming days, Red Cross staff and volunteers will remain available to help those affected by the fire as they navigate the road to recovery,” the organization said in a news release.
