Elections officials to open just one polling place per town in St. Lawrence County for GOP presidential primary April 24

One polling place in each township in St. Lawrence County will be open Tuesday, April 24 from noon to 9 p.m. for the Republican Party primary for candidates for president.

The candidates on the ballot will be Texas congressman Ron Paul, Georgia historian and former Speaker of the House Newt Gingrich, former Massachusetts governor Mitt Romney, and former Pennsylvania senator Rick Santorum.

The St. Lawrence County Board of Elections has consolidated polling sites into one for each township to accommodate primary voters, which generally vote in much smaller numbers than the number of people who cast ballots in a general election.

The polling sites in each town and the City of Ogdensburg are:
