State police and St. Lawrence County Sheriff’s Deputies report an Edwards man was arrested twice Tuesday for separate incidents that allegedly occurred in Canton, Potsdam and Edwards.

Sheriff’s deputies and Canton Village Police report Caleb J. Serrano, 17, of 822 River Rd., Edwards, was charged with petit larceny and fourth-degree criminal mischief after authorities investigated a report that Serrano was allegedly attempting to sell new video games without the cases, and a digital camera, at the Sunoco station in Canton.

Deputies also charged Michael C. Brown, 22, of 24 Griffin Rd., Star Lake, with fifth-degree possession of stolen property.

Deputies determined both men had items that were stolen from the Potsdam Walmart.

Both will answer charges in Potsdam Court at a later date.

State police also report Serrano was arrested at 9:14 p.m. Tuesday night following the report of a domestic dispute in Edwards.

He was charged with second-degree harassment—physical contact, criminal possession of a controlled substance and unauthorized use of a motor vehicle: without the owner’s consent.

He will appear in court to answer those charges at a later date.
