POTSDAM — St. Lawrence County sheriff’s deputies are seeking the public’s assistance with the investigation of a hit-and-run property-damage accident on Flat Rock Road Wednesday night.
The accident took place around 11 p.m. and it is believed that a later model Toyota Tundra, possibly dark in color, exited the left shoulder striking mailbox and then exited the right shoulder and struck a tree, officers said.
Deputies are speculating that the damage to the vehicle is on the driver's side near the front quarter panel and driver door.
The vehicle will be missing the driver side mirror and “iForce V8” badge in that location, deputies said.
Anyone with information about the accident is asked to contact deputies at 315-379-2222 and reference complaint number 192-00078.
Callers can remain anonymous.
