POTSDAM — A Potsdam man was charged with unlawful surveillance Friday after allegedly recording victims on two separate occasions without their knowledge, according to St. Lawrence County sheriff’s deputies.
Timothy A. Rivers, 58, was charged with two counts of second-degree unlawful surveillance, felonies, stemming from an incident Jan. 22, officers said.
Rivers was arraigned virtually and released on his own recognizance, deputies said.
A no contact order of protection was issued in favor of the victims, officers said.
Deputies were reportedly assisted by Homeland Security.
