CANTON — A Winthrop man was arrested on welfare fraud Saturday stemming from incidents that took place fin 2017-18, according to St. Lawrence County sheriff’s deputies.
Jeremy S. Bailey, 29, was charged with fourth-degree welfare fraud, felony, officers said.
Bailey allegedly failed to report income and received $1,153 in food stamp benefits that he was not entitled to, deputies said.
He was cited and released.
